Gocek Friends of Environment and Animals Association

An amazing Association which takes in dumped dogs in Turkey and rehomes them. We make regular donations and also Fundraise. Our photoshoot day raised a staggering £700 ... which actually doesn’t go very far with 140 dogs to look after so every penny helps them. Our next fundraising events: A Sponsored Walk and a Dog Themed Quiz BBQ!

RNLI

We have a collection box for loose change and participate in the annual RNLI week by helping with street collections. A Charity close to home, as Brigitte’s ancestors were fishermen at Rye in East Sussex, and to remember a dear boy, Charlie, who lost his life in a boating accident aged just 14 year old in 2012.

Caterham Carnival

Held on the second Saturday each June, the Caterham Carnival hosts a Companion Dog Show on Westway Common which we have judged for the past 8 or so years. We do not particularly follow Kennel Club rules ... our dog classes are open to everyone, young and old, large and small (people and canines!) with the emphasis being fun. Come and join us ....
